Abstract: |
Waterborne traffic paint resistance against abrasion due to traffic is widely addressed to be the most important challenges in the field of urban management. Given the breadth of application of traffic paint, the colors have to create the least environmental problems and should be economically affordable. In most cases, the color of guard rail panels and tables scaling, are destroyed. In this study, 490 Solvent (Toluene, C6H5 (CH3), Cyclic hydrocarbons from coal tar or petroleum.) based traffic paints containing calcium carbonate nanoparticles were prepared. It was found that nano composites containing 5% CaCO3 show a better property of plasticity required by quality spray paints. The dry film properties were also improved in comparison with paint structures with no nanoparticles additives. Some properties of these systems, such as color, solubility test, abrasion resistance, light UV resistance, hydrophilic properties, environmental testing, and resistance to cold cycles , Heat, was evaluated. Results showed that maximum luminance of dry film was obtained in paint containing 5% nano calcium carbonate that was equal to 4.3. At this value of nano CaCO3 reflectance was determined to be minimum (87.5). |
