Abstract: |
New polyoxadiazole was synthesized from reacting of a new diacid with hydrazine sulfate in polyphosphoric acid solution as a solvent. First of all, the proper diacid was prepared by the nucleophilic substitute reaction of 2- naphthol with 5-bromo isophethalic acid leading us to proper monomer as 5- naphtoxy isophethalic acid .Then, by reacting of monomer with hydrazine sulfate in polyphosphoric acid solution, polyoxadiazole was synthesized. Next, the polymer was characterized by using FT-IR method. Moreover, solubility, and inherent viscosity of the polymer were studied. At the end, multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) / polyoxadiazole (POD) nanocomposites were prepared through a solution rout and analyzed by SEM. |
