Abstract: |
In this study, the reaction of benzylamine with N-4-methylphenyl sulphonyl phosphazene trichloride in 6:1 molar ratio in an ice bath with assistance of ultrasonic waves gave N-4-methyl-phenyl sulphonyl-N,N",N-tribenzyl phosphazen with formula 4-CH3-C6H4S(O)2N=P(NH-CH2-C6H5)3 that was characterized by 1H, 31P NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy and SEM, XRD analyses. The SEM images revealed that the nanoparticles are spherical in shape with their size is about 31.25 nm. The XRD pattern and Debye-Scherrer equation yielded the nanoparticle size around 41.33 nm. The 31P{1H} NMR spectrum indicates a singlet signal at 13.66 ppm that confirms the purity of the synthesized compound. |
