Abstract: |
SiO2 nanostructures was synthesized via a modified sol-gel approaches. This material was prepared with tetraethyl ortho silicate (TEOS) and ethylene di amine and applying of H2salen as a new surfactant for controlling the growth of nanostructures. The effect of time, ligand, aspect ratio of ligand to Si precursor and the power of ultrasound was investigated. Nanostructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), optical spectroscopy Ultraviolet visible (UV-Vis) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Results show that with increasing the aspect ratio of ligand to precursor the size of nanostructures was decreased. On the other hand, by increasing the reaction time, the particle size decreases. |
