Multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) is well known as one of the best candidates for producing the next generation of high performance Nanocomposites due to its excellent thermal, mechanical and electrical properties. Several techniques were employed to study the influence of the MWCNT addition on the thermal, mechanical, electrical and dielectric properties of the PMMA matrix. In this study, the Poly methyl methacrylate / Multi wall Carbon nanotube (PMMA/MWCNT) Polymeric Nanocomposites have been successfully synthesized by In-Situ method by adding 1 to 9 weight percentages of MWCNT which added in the polymerization step. The obtained Nanocomposite has been characterized by Thermal Analyze methods. The thermal properties and Tg transitions have been compared via TG-Temp, Time and DTA-Temp graphs and the effects of different CNT’s volume on them have been studied. |
