Abstract: |
In this paper, magnetite nanoparticle was synthesized by polyol method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) analyses confirmed that the produced particles were mono-phase. Magnetic properties of the product were investigated by vibrating sample magnetometer. Silver deposition was done using butylamine as the reductant of AgNO3 in ethanolic solution. The TEM image confirmed core shell structure formation. The remaining magnetization was strong enough for using in magnetic separation systems. |
