Abstract: |
In the present work, combined effects of ECAP and CR on the mechanical properties of pure copper were investigated. Adding CR to ECAP process not only increased the strength properties but also improved the ductility. Grain refinement and internal stress augmentation contributed mainly to the strength enhancement, while an increase in the microstrain enhanced the ductility of workpiece. Besides, the microhardness amounts were distributed more homogeneously throughout the samples. |
